Hey everyone,

This week was CRAZY busy. Like i said last week, Monday we found another new investigator, Cecille and we taught her again on Wednesday. We found out that she would be moving sometime this month though, which is kind of a bummer. On the bright side she will only be moving to Valley View which is still in our Stake which is good. We were able to teach Ashley and Katie both this week and we helped both begin the quit smoking program. One of the steps in there is to use cinnamon mouth wash, and I’m not really sure what it is for. Anyway, i have cinnamon everything (candies, toothpaste, mouthwash, gum) and right after the lesson Elder Larson and i were talking in the car and he just started laughing. After a couple seconds he just asked, "are you trying to quit smoking?" Ha ha it might not sound as funny in an email, but we were laughing pretty hard about it. Missionary's sense of humor is pretty pitiful.

We were able to teach a new investigator, Christine, this week and it was an incredibly powerful lesson at some parts. We brought a member who we don’t' really feel was the right fit, so that was a little distracting. We were talking about the book of Mormon and she got pretty emotional. She told us that she had contact with missionaries over 20 years ago and told us how she received a book of Mormon then as well. She said that that point and now her life was either stagnant or in turmoil and she said right when she felt that her life needed to change, missionaries and this book always show up. It was the first lesson in a LONG time that i got emotional in and we were able to bear testimony to her that it wasn't by coincidence that these things happen. We are hoping to begin teaching both her and her husband this week.

The last thing that was pretty sweet that happened this week was we were able to go down to Edmonton to ZLC. It is just a meeting where the Zone leaders from the whole mission meet at the mission home and council and receive trainings from the assistants and president Campbell. We received some AWESOME trainings, and one especially stood out about Optimism. I think we got exactly what our zone needs from it and now we're back and ready to teach.

I think that is about it for the week. I love you all and hope all is well.
